A Regal Indian Wedding in London – Raj and Fizza
As an Asian wedding photographer, capturing a couple’s big day is quite an important deal for us. Rashpal Photography is an award-winning photography studio based in London and we are known for capturing contemporary and documentary-style photos for all happy couples.
Raj and Fizza were one of our recent clients and capturing their wedding day was an absolute delight. Their wedding took place on May 5th at Micklefield Hall. Buried in history and surrounded by manicured gardens, this wedding venue in London served as the perfect backdrop for a regal, Indian wedding.
Bride and Groom Portraits
Early in the morning, Fizza started getting ready for her wedding day. Roqa Makeup went for a dark and matte look to match the deep red tones on her Indian wedding dress. Aamir Naveed Hair created a stunning hairstyle for the big day. The bride’s regal dress was from Ekta Solanki.
Raj certainly knows how to steal the show! he was dressed in a navy blue sherwani from Paghwala and matched it with an embroidered shawl that was the same color as Fizza’s dress.
The couple first posed individually for pictures and then shared the “first look”. The moment they laid eyes on each other, a smile spread across their faces, and they embraced each other gracefully.
Bear, Raj’s dog also became part of the couple’s photoshoot and gave us a chance to capture some extra special moments.
Before the wedding ceremony started, we captured some family portraits which came out perfect. The bride and groom posed with their closest family and friends.
The baraat for the groom entered in full force, with color bombs in the air and full bhangra going on.
Raj walked down the aisle with his best friend Bear, which was quite an adorable scene. As for Fizza, she was accompanied by her brother.
The Indian couple shared their vows near the beautiful lake at the property. They exchanged rings while making the promise of “forever”.
Reception Captured From The Eye of an Asian Wedding Photographer
The reception took place inside, with the hall beautifully decorated with flowers, all courtesy of Andrew Flemming Florist. The breathtaking tiered wedding cake was by Maxine’s Patisserie; it was a true piece of art.
For the wedding reception, Fizza changed into a white gown from Ekta Solanki once again. Raj matched her look with a white tuxedo jacket from Acre and Row. We spent a little time with the couple taking pictures in the fields.
The reception was filled with amazing food, great champagne, and ofcourse lots of dancing. The music was courtesy of Kudos -DJ Kabir. There was even a photo booth by Memories Events, which had the couple’s name and wedding date mentioned.
The couple mingled with the guests and then it was time to get on the dance floor. Raj broke the dance floor with some bhangra with his friends. Soon after, Fizza also joined him, and the couple shared their first dance.
The day came to an end with the newly married couple and all the guests on the dance floor.
