Harpal & Dipa – Their wedding Journey – Part I – Paris & London

When Harpal & Dipa came to me and said they were getting married I was overwhelmed with happiness having personally known them for a number of years.  This followed with them saying “we want you and only you to photograph all our wedding events!”  I felt honored and started to visualize the beautiful images that could be created with a couple who were madly in love with each other.

The location of the pre-wedding shoot could not be more fitting, as Paris is renowned as one of the most romantic cities in the world.  With the proposal having already taken place in Paris, they loved the idea of going back to recreate those memories.

Now you don’t need me to tell you how incredible Paris is! Beautiful iconic buildings, wide tree-lined and cobbled avenues. Paired with a gorgeous couple and amazing chemistry, it’s a photographer’s dream.

It was a challenging day for us travelling to various locations around the city, but proved to be lots of fun and laughter.  The cold weather didn’t phase Harpal & Dipa who had been superstars throughout!

After an enjoyable Parisian shoot, we were only weeks away from the next episode of their Journey – The Civil Wedding.  Harpal & Dipa arranged for a small intimate affair for the civil wedding, knowing the traditional Sikh wedding, (asian wedding photography to follow in The wedding Journey Part II!) would be on a larger scale.

The civil wedding took place in the luxurious mansion house, Wokefield Park in Reading.  Dipa looked absolutely stunning in her wedding dress with Harpal looking very dapper!  The ceremony was beautiful and we really enjoyed capturing it!
